We’re an eclectic team of financial copywriters, former financial journalists and editors. That means you can be confident that our copy and content will deliver.
Since 1999, we have been copywriting, blogging, crafting thought leadership and writing annual reports for asset managers, banks, professional services firms and large industrial companies. Our financial expertise and writing creativity differentiates us. Clients trust us; we play key roles in communications projects.
I was a financial journalist in the 1980s and 1990s with The Independent, International Herald Tribune and Institutional Investor magazine. After a brief period as a stockbroker, working on the London Stock Exchange trading floor, I started to work as a financial journalist, specialising in original, off-diary stories. I wrote stories about corporate restructurings, as well as the emerging shareholder activists and key developments in banking. In 1996, I co-founded Global Fund Analysis, an early hedge fund periodical that I edited for three years. In 1999, I started the Clerkenwell Consultancy, offering financial journalism skills to the corporate world. Since then I have learnt a lot. Copy and content must be crafted to meet its specific purpose, which takes forethought and the ability to vary writing style and tone. I am a trusted resource for some of the world’s largest banks and companies, writing everything from thought leadership papers and blogs, to annual reports, CEO speeches and corporate web sites.
