What we think

Promoting a Middle Eastern investment destination

January 2010

Bahrain’s investment brochure, published in January 2010, clearly makes the case for selecting this Kingdom as the base for international businesses looking to access the Middle East’s fast-growing regional economy.

The brochure is the cornerstone of a suite of literature written by the Clerkenwell Consultancy over a period starting in 2007, and part of an international marketing campaign that has raised Bahrain’s profile as a business-friendly’ investment destination in the past two years.

Against tough competition from other Gulf nations, Bahrain’s Economic Development Board is seeking to promote the Kingdom’s attractions as the region’s most open economy, with the best conditions for international business. Over the past decade, the government has introduced a series of initiatives that are recognised as enhancing Bahrain’s position as a highly competitive regional administrative and logistics centre.

Through the investment brochure and other literature, the Clerkenwell Consultancy has helped Bahrain to articulate its case, both with headline messages and detailed fact. We have done this working within the campaign’s business-friendly’ theme and relaxed tone of voice, established by Bahrain’s international advertising agency.

Clerkenwell played an instrumental role in helping the EDB to communicate a complex set of key messages to a highly sophisticated target audience, says Stephanie Wong, Executive Director, Marketing & Communications, Bahrain Economic Development Board.  It played a reliable, diligent and articulate role within our team.”
